The Badger Classic is taking place this November 6-7 at Nielsen Tennis Center on the UW-Madison Campus. In its fifth year, the tournament has grown from 8 teams to 32, providing participants with a guarantee of four matches with the possibility of seven throughout the two day event. Entrants are assigned to pools of four teams based on rankings by TennisonCampus.com. Places 1-4 (determined by record, or in a tie, total games) are then placed into brackets (Gold-Copper) and play single elimination until a champion is decided. There is a playoff for third place in the gold bracket. Saturday night after all play has concluded, a banquet/party will be held at MadAve (18+) and all teams are strongly encouraged to attend to socialize with other participants.
